The Southern area of the park is well known for its vast open plains where large herds of zebra and antelope roam. Because of this ever present food source there is always the odd predator to spot and one of our best lion tracking areas.
Picnic lunch at a picnic site in the bush we head north to Hilltop camp. After we have booked in and sorted out accommodation we set out on an open game drive vehicle sunset game drive. An African Buffet awaits the hungry, and around the dinner table we share our experiences of the day, in the distance a lion roars and you know that you are in Africa.
After breakfast we set out again for another day, combing the hills in the northern portion of Hluhluwe reserve, and who knows perhaps today one of Mother Natures giants might just drop by and share a moment of his life with us.
